Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 500 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 75 g Butter or margarine
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 1 cube (42 g) Yeast
  • 1.5 kg Apples (e.g. Jonagold)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 100 g Flour
  • 100 g crushed almonds
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 100 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 TEASPOON Ginger powder
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar

Directions

  1. 1

Mix flour and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add the fat in flakes. Warm up the milk. Crumble yeast into the lukewarm milk and stir. Add milk to the flour and work everything through with the dough hooks of the hand mixer until the dough comes off the bowl rim.

  2. 2

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, wash, peel and halve apples and remove the core. Cut apple halves into thick slices and sprinkle with lemon juice.

  3. 3

After rising, knead the dough again briefly and roll out on the greased baking tray. Press the edges firmly. Let the dough rise for another 15 minutes. In the meantime, put all the ingredients for the crumbles in a bowl and work them into crumbs using the dough hooks.

  4. 4

Place the apple pieces on the yeast dough, sprinkle the crumbles over them with your hands. Bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 30 minutes. Let cool and serve dusted with icing sugar.

  5. 5

    Results in about 20 pieces.
