Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 50 g ripened cream
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 200 g Flour
  • 3 sour apples (about 200 g each)
  • 2 TEASPOONS clarified butter
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Cranberry compote
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar

Directions

    Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff. Whisk egg yolks, milk, sour cream, sugar, vanillin sugar, salt and flour. Fold in egg whites. Put the dough aside. Meanwhile wash apples, peel 2 pieces, quarter them all, remove core.

    Grate peeled apples roughly and fold into the dough. Cut remaining apple quarters into slices. Heat clarified butter in two large pans. Briefly sauté half of each apple slices, fill in the dough, spread cranberries in small heaps and bake at medium heat until golden brown. Cut the dough into pieces with the help of 2 forks, turn it and fry it to the end. Dust with icing sugar and arrange on plates
