Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs (weight class 3)
  • 2 tablespoons (20 g) Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 TEASPOON untreated orange peel (you can buy it grated)
  • 100 g Flour
  • 350 ml Milk
  • 1 medium-sized apple
  • 30 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 package Dessert sauce "Vanilla Flavor
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Icing sugar

Directions

    Separate 1 egg. Mix egg yolk, 2 eggs, sugar, salt, orange peel, flour and 100 ml milk. Let the dough swell for about 10 minutes. Peel, quarter, core and finely dice the apple. Stir apple into the dough.

    Beat egg white until stiff and fold in. Heat half the fat in a large pan. Add half of the dough, smooth it down and let it set. Tear into small pieces with 2 forks. Keep baking until the pieces are golden brown. Keep warm. Process the remaining half of the dough in the same way. Pour 250 ml cold milk into a bowl. Add sauce powder and beat vigorously for about 1 minute. Serve with grated cheese.
