Almond meatballs in curry sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 Bread rolls from the previous day
  • 1 medium onion
  • 50-75 g whole almond kernels with skin
  • 75 g Raisins
  • 500 g Minced beef
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp possibly mah. Cumin
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Curry, 1/4 l milk
  • 1 TEASPOON Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 3-4 Tbsp sauce thickener
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley

Directions

    Soak the buns. Peel and chop onion. Chop the almonds coarsely. Wash the raisins.

    Knead the minced meat, squeezed bread roll, onion, egg, a third of almonds and half of raisins. Season with salt, pepper and possibly cumin. Form 12-14 balls from it

    Heat the oil. Fry the balls in the oil for 8-10 minutes until brown. Sprinkle with curry. Add remaining almonds and raisins. Stir in milk and 1/4 l water. Bring to the boil, stir in broth and let everything simmer for about 5 minutes

    Bind the sauce with sauce thickener and refine with sour cream. Season to taste with salt, pepper and curry. Wash and chop the parsley and sprinkle it over the sauce. Goes well with flat bread or rice
