Ingredients

Servings: 72
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 pinch(es) Salt
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 1 pck. Vanillin sugar
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 250 g Butter
  • 100 g roasted almonds
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Cocoa powder
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • baking paper

Directions

    Mix flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and vanillin sugar in a bowl. Add egg and butter in pieces. Quickly knead into a smooth dough. Chop the roasted almonds and halve the dough. Knead under one part cocoa, under the other almonds. Knead both doughs together briefly, divide into 2 parts.

    Form the 2 dough pieces into a roll (approx. 36 cm long, approx. 3 cm Ø). Wrap in foil and chill for at least 2 hours. Cut each roll of dough into approx. 1 cm thick slices. Distribute on approx. 3 baking trays lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) one after the other for 10-12 minutes. Let them cool down.
