Ingredients

  • 2 Onions
  • 4 discs Bacon
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Tomato paste
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) white beans
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 dried-out roll
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) Vegetable corn "Texas mix"
  • 750 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 600 g deep-frozen thick french fries
  • 8 Stem(s) Parsley
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil

Directions

    Onions peel and chop finely. Leave the bacon in a pan for about 4 minutes while turning until crispy. Remove and briefly sauté half of the onion cubes in the bacon fat. Add tomato paste and fry for about 1 minute while stirring. Pour the beans into a sieve, rinse, drain briefly and add to the onions. Deglaze with 150 ml water. Bring to the boil, season to taste with salt and cayenne pepper

    In the meantime soak the rolls in plenty of water. Pour the corn mixture into a sieve and drain well. Squeeze the rolls thoroughly. Knead minced meat, remaining onion, corn mixture, roll and egg. Season with salt and pepper

    In the meantime, prepare chips in the oven or deep fryer according to the package instructions. Shape the mince into 4 minced steaks. Grill in a grill pan coated with oil for about 12 minutes, turning a little bit. Wash parsley, shake dry, pluck the leaves from the stems and chop finely, except for something to garnish. Season finished chips with salt and paprika. Arrange on plates, sprinkle with parsley and garnish
