Ingredients

  • 1 fresh egg (Gr. M)
  • 300 g flour, 100 g sugar
  • 2 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 150 g cold butter/margarine
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 250 g Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few drops of red food colouring
  • 1 pack of Waffle rolls with
  • 14 almonds without skin
  • 7-10 Tbsp colourful sugar and love beads
  • baking paper, 2 small freezer bags

Directions

    Separate the egg, chill the egg white. Put flour, sugar, vanillin sugar, salt, fat in small pieces, egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of ice-cold water into a mixing bowl. Knead everything first with the dough hooks of the hand mixer and then briefly with your hands to a smooth dough. If the dough is still too hard: knead in 1-2 tablespoons of ice-cold water. Cover it and put it in a cool place for about 1 hour

    Beat the egg whites and lemon juice until stiff, adding icing sugar. Stain 4 tablespoons of it red. Pour the red and white icing into one freezer bag each and cut off a small corner at the bottom. Spray some white icing in the middle of each cookie and stick 1 wafer roll with the chocolate side on it

    Sprays so much white cast on top that it runs down like "candle wax". Stick 1 almond in the middle of each. Squirt as "flame" some red cast on the almonds

    Now decorate the candles and the remaining cookies according to the

    generic fantasy with cast, sugar and love beads. Let the icing dry and place the candles to the fairy lights
