Strawberry Elderflower Slices

Ingredients

  • 150 g white chocolate
  • 200 g Chocolate cookies
  • 500 g Strawberries
  • 3 sheets Gelatine
  • 400 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 500 g Low-fat curd
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Elderflower syrup
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • baking paper

Directions

    Chop the chocolate and melt it over a warm water bath. Finely grind the cookies in a universal chopper. Mix cookies and chocolate. Line a rectangular cake plate with baking paper and place a cake frame (approx. 20 x 24 cm) on top.

    Spread about 2/3 of the crumb mass as a base in it and press it firmly. Spread the rest of the mixture on some baking paper. Put the base and crumb mixture in a cool place for about 30 minutes.

    Wash, drain and clean the strawberries. Place the strawberries on the floor with the smooth cut surface facing down.

    Soak gelatine in cold water. Mix cream cheese, quark, syrup and sugar. Dissolve gelatine. Stir in 5 tablespoons of the quark mixture, stir into the remaining quark. Spread the quark cream over the strawberries and smooth it down.

    Chill for about 2 hours.

    Crumble the remaining crumb mass into crumble. Cut the slices into pieces, spread the crumble on top, dust with icing sugar if necessary. Add the remaining crumbles.
