Savoy cabbage casserole

Ingredients

  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 750 g Savoy cabbage
  • 1 Vegetable Onion
  • 150 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 1/2 l Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Fresh cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 500 g Pork sausage
  • 100 g Gouda cheese

Directions

    Peel, wash and slice the potatoes. Clean, wash and cut the savoy cabbage into strips. Peel and roughly dice the onion. Cut bacon into cubes and drain in a pan without fat.

    Add potatoes, savoy cabbage and onions and fry briefly. Dust with flour. Add stock and bring to the boil. Cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Stir in crème fraiche. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

    Put one half of the vegetables with sauce in an ovenproof dish. Spread the ground pork on top. Add the rest of the vegetables. Grate cheese and sprinkle over the casserole. Bake in a preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 30 minutes.
