Roast turkey in bacon coat

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 kg Turkey breast (as a substitute for escalope roast)
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 8 discs Breakfast bacon (Bacon)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 4 medium-sized onions
  • 1 Stalk leek (leek)
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 6 Tomatoes
  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley
  • 7-10 Tbsp Thyme

Directions

    Wash the meat and pat dry. Rub with salt and pepper, cover with bacon. Place on the greased fat pan and bake in the oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/recirculating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for 1-1 1/4 hours

    Onions peel and cut into slices. Clean, wash and cut the leek into rings. Clean and wash the mushrooms. Wash tomatoes. Spread everything around the roast after about 20 minutes frying time. Season with salt and pepper. Little by little pour on 1/2 l water

    Peel and wash the potatoes. Cook in salted water for about 20 minutes. Wash and chop parsley and sprinkle over the potatoes. Arrange everything. Garnish with thyme

    Drink: cool white wine
