Roast bread with basil tomatoes

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 6 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 1/2 bunch/pot of basil
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 12 (approx. 250 g) Discs
  • 7-10 Tbsp ital. White Bread
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 50 g soft butter
  • 40 g Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Carve tomatoes crosswise, blanch and skin them. Quarter them, remove seeds and dice finely. Wash basil, shake dry and cut the leaves into strips. Mix with the tomatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper

    Lightly toast slices of bread in a toaster. Peel and chop the garlic. Knead garlic and butter. Spread the breads with it. Spread tomatoes on top. Slice cheese over it.
