Rice pudding with pears and orange compote

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 1/2 l Milk
  • 1 (125 g, 2-3 servings) carton of rice pudding
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Pear
  • 10 g Cornstarch
  • 1/4 l Pear juice
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 30 g milk chocolate
  • 7-10 Tbsp chocolate curls, lemon balm and orange slices

Directions

    Boil up the milk. Remove the pot from the stove. Add rice pudding to the hot milk, stirring constantly with whisks. Stir for another minute. Let rice pudding swell for about 10 minutes.

    Meanwhile peel the orange so that the white skin is completely removed. Cut the fillets from the parting skins. Wash and quarter the pear and cut out the core. Cut the pear quarters into slices.

    Stir the starch and 3 tablespoons of water until smooth. Bring pear juice and lemon juice to the boil, add pear wedges and simmer for about 2 minutes. Stir in starch and bring to the boil again. Carefully stir in orange filets.

    Roughly chop the chocolate and stir into the rice pudding. Add two tablespoons of dumplings. Arrange the rice pudding gnocchi with compote on a plate. Sprinkle with chocolate dumplings as desired and serve decorated with lemon balm and orange slices.
