Ingredients

Servings: 7
  • 250 g Long grain rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 200 g medieval Gouda cheese
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 750 g Broccoli
  • 2 bags of sauce powder "Sauce Hollandaise
  • 250 g Butter or margarine
  • 12 discs Black Forest Ham (approx. 20 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chervil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Cook the rice in boiling salted water at low heat for about 20 minutes. Drain on a sieve if necessary. Grate cheese finely and mix half of it with the rice. Fill into a greased gratin dish and smooth it down. Mix eggs and cream.

    Season with salt and pepper and pour evenly over the rice. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake in a preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 35-40 minutes. In the meantime, clean and wash the broccoli and cut into florets. Cook in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes. Put 1/4 litre of water in a pot and heat it up. Stir in sauce powder with a whisk and bring to the boil while stirring. Cut fat into pieces and add to the sauce. Melt while stirring at low heat.
