Ingredients

  • 1 TABLESPOON Vegetable broth
  • 250 g Long grain rice
  • 150 g medieval Gouda
  • 7-10 Tbsp fat (shape), 3 eggs (size M)
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 750 g Broccoli
  • 1 package Powdered sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp "Dutch Sauce"
  • 1 tablespoon (20 g) Butter
  • 12-16 fine slices
  • 7-10 Tbsp Ham
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chervil

    Bring 1/2 l water and broth to the boil. Add rice to

    Grate cheese. Mix half of it with the rice. Pour into a greased gratin dish (approx. 23 cm Ø). Whisk eggs and cream, season. Pour over the rice. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over it. Bake in a hot oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C / gas mark 3) for 35-40 minutes

    Clean and wash broccoli and cut into florets. Cover and cook in 1/4 l water for about 6 minutes. Lift out. Bring the vegetable water to the boil, stir in the sauce powder and simmer for about 1 minute. Fold in butter. Season sauce to taste

    Heat the broccoli in the sauce. Arrange with ham and gratin, garnish

    Drink: cool white wine
