Rhubarb-strawberry jam with orange

Ingredients

  • 700 g Rhubarb (net approx. 500 g)
  • 300 g Strawberries
  • 1 large untreated orange
  • 1 kg Gelling sugar 1:1

Directions

    Clean, wash and cut the rhubarb into pieces of about 2 cm. Wash, clean, sort and cut the strawberries into pieces. Wash orange hot, rub dry and thinly grate the skin. Halve orange, squeeze juice

    Mix rhubarb, strawberries, sugar, orange peel and juice in a pot and put it in a cool place for about 1 hour (let it draw to juice). Bring to the boil while stirring, then let it boil fizzily for at least 4 minutes. Jam still hot in sterilized glasses
