Wash the potatoes and cook in boiling water for about 20 minutes. Chop nuts
Cream fat and 200 g sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer. Stir in the eggs one after the other
Peel the potatoes and mash them into puree. Add 100 g nuts, baking powder and warm potatoes to the egg mixture and mix. Pour into a greased springform pan (26 cm Ø). Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 50 minutes
In the meantime, wash the plums, cut them in half and stone them. Spread the plums on the cake after about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining nuts and 4 tablespoons of sugar
Let the finished cake rest in the mould for about 10 minutes, remove from the mould and let it cool
