Special kitchen aids: - Minigugelhupf baking irons Preparation: Even before preparing the dough, you should take the ingredients out of the fridge to get this room temperature. All the ingredients can be weighed for simplicity. The pomegranate seeds should be removed from the fruit and placed in a bowl. Turn on the iron and grease it.

  2. 2

First mix the eggs with the sugar in a mixing bowl until frothy.

  3. 3

Then stir in the softened butter.

  4. 4

Add the milk to the mixed ingredients in the mixing bowl. Mix the baking powder with the flour and then add both to the mixing bowl.

  5. 5

Stir everything to a homogeneous mass and refine it with the grating of a lemon peel. (Attention! Do not use the white part of the peel, because this is bitter)

  6. 6

Add the pomegranate seeds to the dough and spread it all over the hollows of the baking tin. Bake for about 7 minutes until the minigugels are golden brown.

  7. 7

Finally, you can decorate the small pastry with icing or slightly warmed jam. Of course you can also refine the same recipe with other fruits. Grab your favourite fruits, invite your friends and look forward to snacking together. Have fun baking!
