Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 package (7 g) Dry yeast
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar

    Separate eggs. Refrigerate the egg whites. Warm milk lukewarm. Mix egg yolks, flour, yeast, salt and sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer for about 1 minute. Add milk and mix. Cover the dough with a warm O

    Beat the egg white until stiff and fold into the dough. Grease the hollows of a Poffertjes pan with oil, heat the pan. Fry about 80 poffertjes of the dough in the pan, one by one, at low to medium heat, until golden brown on both sides. Grease the hollows in between again and again. Dust the poffertjes with icing sugar.
