Ingredients

  • 125 g Butter
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 3 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 200 g Flour
  • 200 g Icing sugar
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp red food colouring
  • 7-10 Tbsp yellow food coloring
  • 7-10 Tbsp red and brown sugar writing
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour

Directions

    Knead butter in small pieces, sugar, vanillin sugar, egg and flour to a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and chill for about 30 minutes. In the meantime make a stable template of Pikatchu (approx. 10 cm high). Put on a Christmas cap as desired. Roll out the dough in portions on a floured work surface 5-7 mm thick.

    Keep the remaining dough cold. Place a template on top and cut out with a small knife. Knead the dough again and roll out. Carefully place on trays lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 10-14 minutes. Let cool off. Stir icing sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Paint the cap end white. Colour 1-2 tablespoons with red food colouring, paint the cap. Colour the rest of the icing yellow.
