Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. In the meantime defrost the peas. Peel and chop garlic and onion. Dice the smoked pork. Heat the oil. Steam onion and garlic in it.
Add the cured pork, peas and tomato sauce and bring to the boil. Season to taste with salt, pepper and dried marjoram. Serve pasta and sauce sprinkled with parmesan. Garnish as desired with fresh marjoram.
