Pear doughnuts

Ingredients

  • 75 g Butter or margarine
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Flour
  • 2 TEASPOONS Baking Powder
  • 3-4 Tbsp Milk
  • 1 Pear
  • 1 kg Frying fat

Directions

    Cream fat and 75 g sugar. Separate the eggs. Stir the egg yolks into the fat-sugar mixture. Mix flour and baking powder, stir in together with the milk. Peel, quarter and core the pears.

    Cut into small cubes. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold the beaten egg whites and pears into the dough. Heat the fat in a large saucepan. Use 2 tablespoons to cut off some of the dough and fry in hot fat until golden brown.

    Turn while still hot in the remaining sugar. Results in about 12 pieces.
