Oranges with buttermilk-quark cream

Ingredients

  • 15 g Cornstarch
  • 2 (260 g) peeled oranges
  • 240 ml Orange juice
  • 1 TABLESPOON Orange liqueur
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of sweetener
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 1 package (250 g) Buttermilk quark (low-fat)
  • 1 (100 g) Fig
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon balm

Directions

    Mix starch and 3 tablespoons of water. Cut orange into fillets. Bring orange juice to the boil. Add liqueur and stir in the cornflour, bring to the boil again. Carefully fold in orange fillets, except for something to decorate, and let cool off a little.

    Season to taste with sweetener. In the meantime, whip the whipped cream until stiff. Season buttermilk quark with sweetener and fold in the whipped cream. Wash the figs and cut into slices. Pour the orange compote into four portion glasses, spread the buttermilk quark cream on top and serve decorated with fig wedges, remaining oranges and lemon balm
