Ingredients

  • 5 Oranges
  • 6 sheets white gelatine
  • 500 g Low-fat curd
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 1/4 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON crushed pistachio kernels
  • 4 candied cherry halves

Directions

    Washing oranges. Put 4 slices of an orange aside for decoration. Peel the rest of this orange and another one so that the white skin is completely removed. Then cut the oranges into slices.

    Squeeze the remaining oranges. Measure out 225 ml of juice. Soak gelatine in it. Whip curd and sugar. Season to taste with lemon juice and cinnamon. Whip cream and vanillin sugar until stiff. Heat the orange juice lukewarm until the gelatine has melted.

    Stir into the quark cream. Cool until it begins to set. Fold in the cream. Fill peeled orange slices and quark cream into glasses. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes. Chop the candied cherries.

    Serve quark cream decorated with unpeeled orange slices, pistachios and cherries.
