Bring the fat to the boil in a pot, add the oat flakes, mix everything well and let it cool down for about 2 minutes. Whip the sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs with the whisk of the hand mixer until creamy. Stir flour, baking powder and egg mixture into the oat flakes
Using 2 teaspoons, spread about 35 piles of dough on each of two baking trays lined with baking paper. Press the piles of dough slightly flat. Bake one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 15 minutes
Take out and let cool on a cake rack for about 30 minutes
Melt the nougat over a warm water bath. Decorate cookies with melted nougat and leave to dry
