Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 1 Package "Basic ingredients for Nasi Goreng" for 2 persons
  • 2 Chicken filets
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON Cashew nuts
  • 100 g frozen peas
  • 1 medium-sized banana
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper

Directions

  1. 1

Bring about 1/4 litre of water to the boil, add the rice from the packet and boil for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain the rice on a sieve. Scald the dried vegetables from the package with 100 millilitres of boiling water, stir well and leave to swell for ten minutes.

  2. 2

Wash the chicken fillets, dab dry and cut into cubes. Heat oil in a pan and fry the meat for about five minutes until golden brown all around. Add the cashew nuts and also brown. Add soaked vegetables to the meat and braise over a mild heat for two to three minutes.

  3. 3

Add rice and peas to the pan and braise for another five minutes. Peel and slice the banana. Mix the seasoning sauce and Spanish pepper (enclosed in the package) and the banana slices into the Nasi-Goreng.

  4. 4

Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
