Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 washer Gouda cheese (about 1 cm thick)
  • 1 Onion
  • 800 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 1 TABLESPOON Mustard
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 (approx. 1kg) Head Cauliflower
  • 4 Spring onions
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sunflower oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp freshly grated nutmeg
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil

Directions

  1. 1

For the meatloaf cut the cheese into 4 strips. Peel and finely chop the onion. Knead minced meat, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, 4 tablespoons water and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Form minced meat into 4 meat loafs and fill with cheese strips. Put them on the oil-coated fat pan of the oven. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ circulating air: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 40 minutes

  2. 2

Clean the cauliflower, remove from the stalk in florets, wash and, depending on size, cut into small pieces if necessary. Clean and wash spring onions and cut them into pieces of about 2 cm. Peel, wash and slice the potatoes

  3. 3

Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the potatoes for about 20 minutes while turning. After about 10 minutes add the cauliflower and spring onions. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add cream and stock about 5 minutes before the end of the frying time. Arrange vegetable-potato pan and meat loaf. Schmand with spring onions tastes good with it
