Knead fat, flour, 150 g icing sugar, almonds, egg, salt, cinnamon and cloves to a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rest in a cool place for about 1 hour. Divide the dough into 8 portons.
Grease 7 tartlet moulds (12 cm Ø, with removable base) well. Press in one portion of dough each. Prick several times with a fork. Spread the jam in the tartlets and bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175°C/ gas: level 2) for 45-50 minutes.
Roll out the remaining dough on a floured work surface, cut out small stars and place them on the tartlets 30 minutes before the end of the baking time. Take the tartlets out of the oven, let them cool on a cake rack, remove them from the tartlets and serve dusted with the remaining icing sugar.
