Ingredients

  • 1 Stalk leek (leek)
  • 1 Bread rolls from the previous day
  • 2 small onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 750 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 300 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 5 Stem(s) Basil
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 1 can(s) (850 ml) peeled tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 300 g wide ribbon noodles
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film

Directions

    Clean the leek, cut in half lengthwise and wash. Blanch leek in boiling salted water for 1-2 minutes, then rinse under cold water. Roughly dice rolls and soak in cold water.

    Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Knead minced meat, squeezed out bread cubes, garlic, half of the onions, tomato paste and egg. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika. Stir cream cheese and milk until smooth and season with salt and pepper.

    Roll out the chopping mass between 2 layers of foil to form a rectangle (approx. 30 x 20 cm). Spread with cheese cream, cover with leek and roll up from the long side. Place the roll with the seam side down on a baking tray.

    Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 35-40 minutes. Clean, wash and halve the mushrooms. Wash basil, shake dry, pluck the leaves from the stems and chop, except for a little to garnish.

    Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the mushrooms for 3-4 minutes. Fry the remaining onion cubes for 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes, season with salt, pepper and a little sugar and let simmer for 8-10 minutes.

    Chop the tomatoes. Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Add chopped basil to the sauce. Remove the meatloaf from the oven, let it cool down a little and cut it into slices.

    Drain the pasta. Arrange slices of minced meat, pasta and tomato sauce and garnish with basil.
