Ingredients

  • 2 Onions
  • 40 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 250 g Dish lenses
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 TEASPOON Peppercorns
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 1 collar Soup Greens
  • 400 g Kassel
  • 100 g dried apricots
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3-4 Tbsp White wine vinegar
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS clear broth (instant)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Peel and chop the onions. Dice bacon finely. Fry both in a pot. Add the lentils. Season with laurel and peppercorns.

    Add 1 litre water. Bring to the boil, cover and cook for about 30 minutes. In the meantime peel, wash and chop the potatoes. Clean, wash and cut the soup greens into small pieces. Wash the cured pork loin. Halve the apricots. Add vegetables, cured pork and apricots to the lentils. If necessary add another 1/4 litre of water and cook for another 30 minutes. Take the meat out of the pot, cut into cubes and add it again.
