Layer salad with steak strips

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 3 Beef steaks (approx. 200 g each)
  • 7 TABLESPOONS Sunflower oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 50 g Pine nuts
  • 4 discs Toast
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 5 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 1 TEASPOON Mustard
  • 200 g Feta cheese
  • 200 g dried soft tomatoes
  • 200 g Romaine lettuce hearts
  • 100 g Baby Spinach
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Dab meat dry. Heat 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a frying pan. Sauté the steaks on each side for about 3 minutes, season with salt and pepper, remove, wrap in foil and leave to rest.

    Roast the pine nuts in a pan without fat until golden brown, take them out and let them cool down. Remove the crusts from the bread and cut into cubes. Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the cubes at medium heat until golden brown. Take out and let cool down

    Meanwhile peel garlic and dice finely. Mix vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. Fold in 5 tablespoons of sunflower oil

    Cut the feta into cubes, chop the tomatoes. Clean, wash and dry romaine lettuce. Sort spinach, wash and spin dry. Remove steaks from foil and cut into strips

    Place lettuce, feta, tomatoes, pine nuts, meat and spinach in a bowl. Pour vinaigrette over it and sprinkle croutons over it
