Lamb chops with melted tomatoes

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2-3 Garlic cloves
  • 3 Meat tomatoes (approx. 200 g each)
  • 1 Branch rosemary
  • 1 Pot of thyme
  • 12 (à 60 g) Lamb chops
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 150 g Olives
  • 7-10 Tbsp Basil

Directions

    Peel the garlic and cut into wafer-thin slices. Clean and wash the tomatoes and cut them into thick slices. Wash and chop the herbs. Wash chops and dab dry. Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Steam the tomatoes, half of the garlic and herbs in it at medium heat for 5-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

    Turn 1x. In the meantime heat 3 tablespoons of oil in another pan. Fry the chops on each side over high heat until golden brown. Also season with salt and pepper, remaining garlic and herbs. Fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Briefly toss the olives in the frying fat. Serve garnished with fresh basil
