Separate eggs. Beat the egg whites and 1 pinch of salt until stiff with a hand mixer, adding 1 tablespoon of sugar. Whisk egg yolk, milk and vanilla sugar briefly. Stir in the flour bit by bit
Fold the beaten egg white loosely into the dough. Grease in a medium sized frying pan
(approx. 24 cm Ø) heat up
Add the dough and bake at low heat until golden brown. Then quarter, turn and bake from the other side
Tear into pieces with 2 forks and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sugar. Continue baking for a short time, caramelise while tossing. Serve with groats and icing sugar
