Hot white chocolate with red sugar rim

Ingredients

  • 50 g red sugar (e.g. from Wilton)
  • 5 Marshmallows (white or pink)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil and cornstarch
  • 300 g white chocolate
  • 700 ml Milk
  • 5 Candy Canes

Directions

    Put sugar on a saucer and moisten the edges of five or six glasses with water. Dip them upside down in sugar and let them dry.

    For the marshmallow stars, cut marshmallows into 3-4 slices with oiled kitchen scissors and powder with starch. Cut out ministers (1-2 cm each) or other motifs.

    Break white chocolate into pieces. Heat milk. Add chocolate. Remove from heat. Melt chocolate while stirring. Foam with a hand blender. Pour into the glasses and serve with candy canes, marshmallow stars and the rest of the marshmallow slices.
