Golden-brown semolina cams

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1/2 l + 1/4 l milk
  • 4-5 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 g Common wheat semolina
  • 2 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 1 can(s) (314 ml) Tangerines
  • 1 package Sauce powder vanilla flavor
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Butter
  • 1 TEASPOON Cinnamon

Directions

    Bring 1/2 l milk, 3 tablespoons sugar, vanillin sugar and salt to the boil. Add semolina and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in egg yolk. Let cool down for about 1 hour

    Drain the mandarins. Beat 1/4 l milk and sauce powder in a high mixing bowl with the whisk of the hand mixer for approx. 1 minute. Fold in the mandarins

    Form 8-12 longish dumplings from the semolina mixture with 2 moistened tablespoons. Heat butter in a frying pan. Fry the dumplings in it until golden brown all around

    Mix 1-2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Remove the dumplings and turn them into cinnamon-sugar. Serve with the sauce
