Fried kohlrabi with quark dip

Ingredients

  • 1 Kohlrabi (approx. 250 g)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 200-250 g Low-fat curd
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 4-5 Radishes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chives
  • 1 TABLESPOON Vinegar
  • 3 TSP Oil
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 small onion
  • 2-3 Salad leaves
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Sesame
  • 2 TABLESPOONS grated parmesan
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 1 small egg

Directions

    Peel, wash and cut the kohlrabi into 1 1/2 cm thick slices. Cover and steam in little boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes. Drain and let cool down a little

    Stir curd and milk smooth, season. Clean and wash the radishes. Wash the chives. Cut both finely and stir into the quark

    Mix vinegar, salt and pepper, fold in 1 tsp. oil. Clean, wash and chop the tomato. Peel onion, cut into rings. Wash and chop the salad. Mix marinade and salad ingredients

    Mix sesame and parmesan. Turn the kohlrabi slices first in flour, then in whisked egg and finally in the sesame mixture. Press on a little. Fry the kohlrabi slices in 2 tsp. hot oil until golden brown. Serve everything. Serve with roast potatoes or bread
