Finkenwerder plaice with potato salad

Ingredients

  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/2 bunch Dill
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Vinegar
  • 1 TEASPOON clear soup
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 Plaice ready for cooking (approx. 300 g each)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 50-75 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Butter

Directions

    Wash and boil the potatoes. Quench, peel and let cool

    Peel and chop the onion. Wash and chop the dill. Boil up about 1/8 l water, onion, vinegar, broth, pepper and a little salt. Cut the potatoes into slices. Wash cucumber, slice finely. Mix both with marinade, oil and dill. Leave to stand for about 1 hour.

    Wash the plaice, dab dry. Sprinkle with lemon, salt, turn in flour. Dice bacon. Fry until crispy in a large pan. Take out. Heat butter in bacon fat. Fry the plaice for 5-7 minutes, first on the white side and then on the dark side, until golden brown. Add the bacon. Season salad and arrange with the plaice
