Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 7-10 Tbsp slightly + 75 g sugar
  • 8-10 (approx. 360 g) ripe figs (alternatively drained figs from the glass)
  • 2 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 175 ml Milk
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Vodka
  • 60 g Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, ground cloves
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar for dusting
  • 4 (approx. 26 cm Ø) ovenproof moulds or 1 gratin dish (each approx. 12 cm Ø; at least 3 cm high)

Directions

  1. 1

Grease the moulds and sprinkle with sugar. Wash figs, grate dry and cut in half. Preheat oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: see manufacturer).

  2. 2

Mix eggs, 75 g sugar, milk, vodka, flour, 1 pinch of salt and cloves with the whisk of the mixer to a smooth dough. Spread into the moulds. Place 4-6 fig halves in the dough with the cut surface facing upwards.

  3. 3

Bake in a hot oven for about 30 minutes until the dough rises and is golden brown. Do not open the oven in between, otherwise the dough will collapse too much. Remove the clafoutis and serve hot or warm.

  4. 4

Dust with icing sugar before serving.
