Bring milk to the boil, stir in the rice flakes. Simmer the flakes for about 5 minutes and let them swell for about 10 minutes
Meanwhile, wash the nectarine, rub dry and cut into slices. Peel melon, scrape out seeds with a spoon. Cut the flesh into slices. Wash, stone and halve the cherries. Boil up the thick juice in a small pot. Add cardamom, star anise and vanilla pulp and let it simmer for about 10 minutes
Pour rice pudding into a bowl. Mix the fruits with 1-2 tbsp. of the marinade. Pour marinated fruit over the rice pudding. Sprinkle with the rest of the marinade
