Curry sausage casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 Fried sausages (125 g each)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 6-8 discs Toast
  • 1 package (500 g) strained tomatoes
  • 100 g Curry ketchup
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS liquid honey
  • 7-10 Tbsp Curry Powder
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 125 g medieval Gouda cheese
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Fresh cream

Directions

    Fry the sausages in hot oil for about 7 minutes, turning them over. Lightly toast the slices of toast. Mix the strained tomatoes, ketchup and honey. Season to taste with curry, salt and pepper. Grate cheese finely. Mix with crème fraîche. Cut the sausages into pieces and put them in an ovenproof dish, pour tomato sauce over them.

    Cut 2 slices of toast diagonally in half and spread them fan-like. Pour the cheese mixture over it. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 25 minutes. Sprinkle with curry. Serve the rest of the toasted bread separately. Serve with a fresh salad
