  • 400 g shelled peas
  • 4 côtes de porc
  • 7-10 Tbsp 3 tablespoons liquid honey
  • 4 slices of bacon (or smoked bacon)
  • 1 oignon
  • 40 g de beurre
  • 2 brins de thym
  • 7-10 Tbsp 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp huile d'olive
  • 7-10 Tbsp sel et poivre

Directions

    1 In an oiled frying pan, brown the pork chops, 2 mn on each side. Salt and pepper. Sprinkle them with honey and caramelize a few minutes. Pour the vinegar and soy sauce.

    2 Lower the heat to low and cook for 15 minutes, turning them over from time to time. Remove the thyme, sprinkle it over. Salt and pepper

    3 Peel and chop the onion. Brown it in a frying pan with half the butter. Pour in the peas and cover with water. Season with salt and pepper. Place a sheet of baking paper on top and cook 15 minutes over medium heat.

    4 Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry it in a dry pan. Mix them with the peas and the rest of the butter into pieces. Serve them immediately with the pork chops.
