Chicory-paprika vegetables with mashed potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1.2 kg floury potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Nutmeg
  • 100 g green olives (without stone)
  • 50 g Lamb's lettuce
  • 2 red peppers
  • 4 pistons (approx. 800 g) Chicory
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Butter

Directions

    Peel, wash and possibly halve the potatoes. Cover and cook in boiling salted water for about 25 minutes. In the meantime chop olives finely. Select the salad, wash and drain well. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into strips.

    Clean, wash and halve the chicory and cut out the stalk. Cut chicory into wide strips.

    Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the peppers in it for about 3 minutes. Fry the chicory for another 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, stir in olives. Drain the potatoes. Add milk and butter.

    Stomp into mashed potatoes. Season to taste with salt and nutmeg. Fold in salad. Arrange everything.
