Wash and stone the cherries. Mix sour cream, 150 g sugar and 6 eggs to a smooth glaze. Cream the fat, 250 g sugar, vanillin sugar and salt with the whisks of the hand mixer. Stir in 4 eggs one after the other. Mix flour and baking powder. Stir into the fat and egg mixture.
Grease the fat pan of the oven (33 x 40 cm), place the dough on top and smooth it down. Spread cherries on top. Pour the custard over the cherries. Bake in the preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) on the second rack from the bottom for 40-55 minutes. Remove and let cool on a cake rack. Sprinkle with pistachios
