Ingredients

  • 500 g deep-frozen fries
  • 600 g Chicken filet
  • 1 egg (size L)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 5-6 Tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 150 g Salad cream (36 % fat)
  • 7-10 Tbsp peel and juice of 1/2 untreated lemon
  • 3 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 1 package (approx. 150 g) Salad mix
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon slices
  • baking paper
  • 8 Shashlik skewers

Directions

    Line baking tray with baking paper. Spread french fries on one half of the baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven (200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 10 minutes. Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into large cubes. Whisk the egg in a deep dish and season with salt and pepper.

    Spread breadcrumbs and flour in 1 further plate each. Turn chicken cubes first in flour, then in egg and then in breadcrumbs. Put chicken cubes on 8 skewers. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan and fry the skewers all around until golden brown. Place skewers on the other half of the baking tray. Bake in the oven at the same temperature for another 10 minutes. Mix salad cream with lemon peel and lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix vinegar with salt and pepper. Stir in 3 tablespoons of oil in a thin stream and drizzle over the salad.
