Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour
  • 300 g white couverture
  • 250 g Butter
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanilla sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 150 g Macadamia nut kernels
  • 400 g Flour
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking soda
  • 100 g ground almonds (without skin)
  • 3 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Icing sugar

Directions

    Grease the fat pan (deep baking tray) and dust with flour. Coarsely chop the chocolate coating. Melt 250 g butter and 150 g couverture while stirring. Stir in sugar, vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt and warm up. Pour into a large mixing bowl and allow to cool, stirring several times

    Chop the macadamia nuts very roughly. Preheat oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: level 2). Mix 400 g flour, baking powder, baking soda and almonds. Whisk eggs and stir into the cooled butter and chocolate mixture with a wooden spoon with a hole. Add the flour mixture and also stir in with a wooden spoon

    Pour the dough into the fat pan and press it smooth with the floured backs of your hands. Bake in a hot oven for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool down. Dust with icing sugar
