Autumnal red wine tray cake with lots of fruit

Ingredients

  • 500 g Plums
  • 4 (approx. 450 g) small apples
  • 2 (approx. 250 g) small pears
  • 200 g Butter or margarine
  • 200 g + 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 coated Tsp Cinnamon
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 100 ml Red wine
  • 120 g Cranberries
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • baking paper

Directions

    Washing fruit. Cut plums in half and stone them. Quarter apples and pears, cut out core. Cut the fruit quarters in half again and cut deep, close together. Cream fat, 200 g sugar and vanillin sugar. Add salt and cinnamon. Stir in eggs bit by bit.

    Mix flour and baking powder. Alternately stir in with the red wine. Spread the dough on a baking tray (25 x 40 cm) lined with baking paper. Cover with prepared fruit. Sprinkle with cranberries and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 50-60 minutes. Let cool and dust with icing sugar
