Apricot and walnut confectionery

Ingredients

  • 145 g dried soft apricots
  • 125 g Walnut kernels
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Rum
  • 150-175 g Dark chocolate coating
  • baking paper

Directions

    Cut 125 apricots into fine cubes. Coarsely grind the walnuts. Mix apricots, walnuts and rum well and form into 16-18 balls. Coarsely chop the chocolate coating and melt it on a hot water bath. Let the chocolate coating cool down and warm it up again.

    Dip the balls into the liquid chocolate coating, drain and place on baking paper. Cut remaining apricots into fine strips and decorate the still moist confectionery with them. Leave to dry in a cool place. Place in paper baking cups as desired
