Apple-brioche casserole

Ingredients

  • 80 g Raisins
  • 4 sour apples (e.g. Jonathan)
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 400 ml + 1/2 l milk
  • 6 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 75 g + 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 discs Brioche bread (from the previous day)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 1 package Vanilla sauce powder
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar

Directions

    ##Raisins## wash and drain. ##Apples## wash, possibly peel, core and cut into slices.

    Preheat oven (electric cooker: 175°C/ circulating air: 150°C/ gas: level 2). Mix cream, 400 ml milk, ##eggs## and 75 g sugar. Lay the brioche and apples alternately diagonally in a greased casserole dish.

    Pour egg milk over it. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over it. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes.

    For the vanilla sauce of 1/2 l milk, take 4 tablespoons off and stir with sauce powder until smooth. Boil up the rest of the milk and 2 tbsp. sugar. Stir in the sauce powder. Bring to the boil and simmer for at least 1 minute. Dust the casserole with icing sugar and add the vanilla sauce.
