Ingredients

  • 80 g Raisins
  • 3 (approx. 150 g) Bread rolls from the previous day
  • 3 larger Elstar apples
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 4 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Wash and drain the raisins. Cut the rolls into thin slices. Wash apples, dab dry, peel if necessary, cut out the core. Cut apples into thin slices. Mix cream, milk, eggs, egg yolks and sugar.

    Place the bread and apples alternately at an angle in a greased casserole dish. Pour egg milk over it, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, press down briefly. In a preheated oven (electric cooker: 150 °C/ convection oven: 125 °C/ gas: level 1) 35-45 minutes golden brown bac

    Remove the casserole, let it cool down a little and dust with icing sugar. Serve with vanilla sauce.
