Ingredients

  • 125 g Butter or margarine
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 package Pudding powder "Vanilla Flavor"
  • 3 TSP Baking Powder
  • 7-8 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 100–125 g Dark chocolate coating
  • 150 g Icing sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • baking paper

Directions

    Cream fat, sugar, vanillin sugar and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer. Add the eggs one after the other and stir in. Mix flour, pudding powder and baking powder. Alternately stir in 4-5 tablespoons of milk. Place 5 piles of dough by the spoonful on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Bake one after the other in the preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 12-15 minutes. After 10 minutes baking time, brush the surfaces with approx. 3 tablespoons of milk and bake.

    Let the Americans cool down on a cake rack. Coarsely chop the chocolate coating and melt it on a warm water bath. Mix icing sugar, lemon juice and about 1 tbsp. hot water to a thick icing. Spread 5 Americans each from the bottom (flat side) with the icing and 5 with the couverture. Allow to dry
