Ingredients

Servings: 18
  • 200 g Butter or margarine
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 4 eggs (size M)
  • 400 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 1 (approx. 200 g) Apples
  • 200 g Courgette
  • 7-10 Tbsp juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 150 g Icing sugar
  • 3-4 Tbsp apple juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few small apple slices
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and breadcrumbs

Directions

    Cream fat, sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir in eggs bit by bit. Mix flour and baking powder and stir into the fat egg mixture. Wash the apple, dab dry, halve and remove the core. Clean and wash the zucchini. Grate both roughly, sprinkle with lemon juice and fold into the dough. Grease a box form (30 cm long) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

    Fill in the dough and smooth it down. Bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 175 °C/ ultralight: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 60-70 minutes. Take out the cake, let it cool down a little and turn it onto a kitchen grid. Let the cake cool down. Stir icing sugar and apple juice until smooth. Spread on the cake and let it get firm. Decorate with small apple slices
